Sponsorship Opportunity

Mirage has had a reputable racing history here in the Caribbean during the past four seasons.  Mirage has been featured in cover photographs and posters for many prestigious regattas, usually leading the fleet on some leg of the race.  So far this potential exposure to a corporate sponsor has been un-utilized.

  • Sponsorship of Mirage means advertising exposure in the United States, Europe and the Caribbean. Your company name and logo displayed on sails, will be seen on television in Europe (Euro-Sport) and in the United States (ESPN).

  • Imagine your logo on the center of a spinnaker on a racing program... or in a major yachting publication. Last year images of Mirage turned up on calendars, catalogs, regatta pamphlets and posters thereby extending logo exposure time over a period of years.

  • Imagine your logo, on a yacht, moored strategically in a harbor that enjoys over one millions tourists passing by within a few yards every year. Your floating "billboard" will be viewed hourly by the ferryboat traffic serving St. John. On her day charters Mirage can be seen along the coast in full view of the hotels and resorts.

  • Imagine your logo on a late model luxury crew van, utilized at all the Virgin Islands regattas. The Chevrolet Astro van is a common sight on St. John and St. Thomas.

  • The Virgin Islands and the other island countries Mirage visits are premier vacation destinations for a diverse group of tourists. Movie stars, heads of state, and CEO's from around the world come here to relax.

Review the racing history page to see how Mirage has performed.  See the excerpts from articles and features of the regattas to see how Mirage has consistently been prominently exposed in the media.  Your logo could be there too in future articles and photo stories.

In recent years, images of MIRAGE have been prominent in the following media

  • ESPN
  • EURO-Sport
  • Budget Marine Equipment Catalog (Cover) 1998
  • San Juan Star
  • St. Thomas Daily News
  • All At Sea (Cover Twice)
  • Sailing World
  • St. John Times
  • Latitude 38 and 48
  • The Tropic Times

Imaging your logos splashed across the sides.

It may take a few moments, but watch the van to see an example of how the van could look
